Crewed Yachts vs. Bareboat Charters

By October 21, 2014November 30th, 2015Bareboat Yacht Charters, General Charter Information

At Mainsail Yacht Charters we specialize in Caribbean yacht charters.  It’s our job to make sure you are having an amazing experience. There are two types of charters you can choose from: crewed or bareboat.

A crewed yacht is affordable and all-inclusive with a welcoming and knowledgeable crew. Your attentive captain and chef/stewardess is there to take care of you and your private group. By choosing crewed charter, you get a crew who will navigate, sail and prepare you gourmet meals. Your itinerary is customized to your preference in order to completely accommodate you.

Bareboat charters are similar, but come without the crew. Hiring a skipper is always an option if you need one. If you are a licensed skipper you may be able to navigate your own bareboat. Don’t worry if you are unfamiliar with yachts and need a skipper; we will provide you with one who knows their way around and will give you the perfect getaway experience.

Crewed charters are an above-and-beyond luxurious experience while bareboat charters give you ultimate tranquility and privacy. Whatever your needs, Mainsail Yacht Charters can ensure they will be met. Contact us with any charter questions or inquiries.
