St. Thomas is a getaway destination located in the US Virgin Islands that’s well known for its beaches, history, and snorkeling spots.

Magens Bay
This bay is located on the beautiful Northside of St. Thomas. At this beach, you can find soft white sand and aquamarine waters while surrounded by a perfect island landscape. Enjoy the island’s favorite drink, the painkiller, in a beach chair next to the ocean. Magens Bay is a great place for rest and relaxation.

Blackbeard’s Castle
This historical landmark was built in 1679 as a hilltop watchtower. It features a 14 foot tall Blackbeard sculpture and walking tour. Visitors will get the chance to climb to the top of the tower and take in a fantastic view of the island from the top. Families and kids can experience the island’s history and architecture while visiting.

Fort Christian
Fort Christian was originally dated back to the 1600s and was built by Denmark and Norway when they originally colonized the island. It’s located in Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas which is a short distance from the main port. This is a nice place to take a tour, enjoy the local culture, and dive into the island’s rich history.
