We now call them our friends and can’t wait to book our next trip!

We just had the experience of a lifetime in the USVI, aboard the 52ft RUMBA with Captain Brendan and Chef Karen, and six of our friends. Top notch service and AMAZING food. Six full days of incredible views, sun and sea & delicious meals. Homemade breads each morning, including pear bread and peach/apple, which were my favorites. Mouth watering lunches, dinners, appetizers and desserts. The salmon was the best I’ve ever tasted. Karen’s ceviche… OMG. Did I mention the desserts? Key lime pie, bananas foster, blueberry crepes, Crème’ Brule. YUM! Other highlights – Awesome cocktails served up by Captain B, Pilates on the boat, sea turtles like crazy, dolphin seat dolphin calling, gorgeous sunsets, dance parties, learning to blow the conch shell (LOL), snorkeling, hiking, sailing, and SO much laughter. I cannot forget to mention the Great Rumba Challenge, which I am pleased to say I became the champion of. We knew this trip would be great because we love the USVI. What we didn’t know was what a game changer it was to have not only a captain taking care of us, but also an incredible chef on the boat. For us, it was Brendan and Karen who made this trip so memorable. They are a great team, with the best senses of humor and are always so accommodating. It was sad leaving them at the dock, and I went home missing our coffee and conversation and giggles in the galley. We now call them our friends and can’t wait to book our next trip and do it all again. Thank you for all of the memories! MM
